Our mission is to be a Great Commission Church...
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." Matthew 28:19-20.
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
and a Great Commandment Church...
"Jesus replied, 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'" Matthew 22:37-40
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
Our purpose is to exalt the Lord by being a caring fellowship of believers, maturing in Christian discipleship, being equipped for ministry and sharing the message of Christ with Salado and the world.
Plan of Salvation
Perhaps you've been asking, "What must I do to be saved?"
Here is an easy to understand answer.
You must understand you need to be saved...

| -Because you have sinned. |
| "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23 |

| -Because your sin has a penalty. |
| "The wages of sin is death." Romans 6:23 |
|
| -Because you cannot save yourself. |
| "…not because of righteous things which we have done." Titus 3:5 |
You must understand you can be saved...

| -Because God loves you. |
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
|
|
| -Because Jesus died for you. |
“While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8
|
|
| -Because God raised Jesus from the dead. |
| “God…raised Jesus from the dead…that he might give repentance and forgiveness of sins...” Acts 5:30-31 |
You must understand there is something for you to do to be saved...

| -You must turn from sin. |
| “Repent and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out…” Acts 3:19 (NIV) |

| -You must put your faith in Jesus. |
| “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.” Ephesians 2:8 |

| -You must surrender to Jesus as your Lord. |
| …”if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9 (NIV) |

You must act if you want to be saved.

| Do you believe God raised Jesus from the dead? |
If you answered "yes", then you are ready to be saved.

You can word your own prayer and ask Jesus to come into your life or you may pray the one printed here if it is the desire of your heart.

“Jesus, I know I’m a sinner and I ask you to forgive me of my sin. I know you died for my sins. Right now, I invite you into my life to be my Savior and Lord. I turn from my sin and give my life to You. Thank you for saving me. Amen.”

You have made the greatest decision of your life. You are now one of God’s children. As His child, He wants you to be baptized and get involved in a local, Bible believing church. He wants you to have Christian relationships, study the Bible, pray to Him daily, and help others to make the decision you have made today.
